Understanding the world in an open way

I am a physicist, embedded design technologist, developer, and open source enthusiast. Just at the beginning of a PhD program at Dalhousie University. My research has a broad set of focuses: nanomagnetic properties in metallic thin films grown from molecular beam epitaxy and magnetron sputtering, and surface physics of stress-strain characterization of bulk material deformation. You will find my curriculum vitae, notes and miscellaneous items around this site.
